Cape York Peninsula Landcare Program

provides Landcare support to primary producers, Indigenous communities and Landcare and catchment groups across Cape York Peninsula Natural Resource Management (NRM) region, from the Mitchell River north to the Torres Strait Islands.

The Cape York Peninsula Landcare Program is hosted by Cook Shire Council.

Peninsula Landcare Committee (PLC)

is the community advisory group for the Program. The CYP Landcare Program works closely with primary industry groups, Indigenous communities, State and Federal government, local councils, schools and other NRM organizations to maximize landcare outcomes and resources on the Peninsula.
